Motorbike Repairs
When you come to Old Town, chances are that you will arrive on a rented motorbike. Old Town has 2 repair shops that can usually get you going again for very little money. A puncture repair can cost as little as 30 baht if a patch is used, or around 100 baht if a new tube is required, even a new tyre only costs around 350 baht. Adjusting breaks and oiling the chain should cost no more than 10-20 baht and pumping the tyres is usually free.

Remember when driving a motorbike to ware a helmet, this is the law and it makes sense too, if you are unfortunate enough to have an accident the helmet may reduce your injuries or even save your life!
To avoid accidents, drive at a reasonable speed (max 50km/h), check your mirrors frequently and keep an eye out for other road users, kids, snakes and reptiles, cows, chickens
