There are regular ferries, public minibuses and private taxis running to and from Phuket. Ferries only operate during the summer months if sea conditions permit.
If you arrive by car or minibus, you'll cross from the mainland, via Lanta Noi to Ko Lanta Yai on the 2 car ferries that shuttle back and forth from 6:30am - 10:00pm every day throughout the year.
Getting to Ko Lanta is easy for even a first time visitor.
